This short documentary is structured around a day spent with Edward Giobbi in his home in Katonah, alongside his granddaughter, revisiting key moments of his life and work. Drawing from a 1977 oral history interview with the Smithsonian Institution, it focuses on Giobbi’s articulation of truth as the basis of beauty, and on art as something inseparable from lived experience. Through conversation and observation, it documents a practice shaped over decades, and the transmission of ideas across generations.
